For years I treated CRM hygiene as a discipline problem. Nag harder, build the dashboard, name the laggards in the team meeting.

It was never a discipline problem. Reps pick the deal over the form because that is the right call. Nobody became a seller to do data entry.

What bad data really costs

76% of organizations say less than half of their CRM data is accurate and complete, and Gartner puts the cost of bad data at $12.9 million a year. A forecast built on a half-empty CRM is just a guess in a nicer spreadsheet.

Capture data where the work happens

The fix isn't more nagging. It is capturing data where the work already happens, in the meeting, the email, the follow-up, so that it shows up on its own.

If the data behind your forecast were complete, how different would your pipeline number look?
